“Alone Time” is something everyone needs sometimes. Time away from the bustle surrounded only by trees, rocks, and whispering water. This painting shows just that. A fisherman recharging his energy while using the excuse of catching fish. The sun rays found a way through the trees to light up his little patch of rock he’s balancing on. “Alone Time” was painted en plein air in Pettibone Park, La Crosse, WI during the Between the Bluffs 2022 plein air event. The water being fished is backwater of the Mississippi which flows nearby.
