Original oil landscape. Three goats lift their heads in curiosity, and are sure to go right back to grazing their wooded pasture.  Since there are three of them, and one definitely looks like the older brother, I named this painting “Gruff” because they reminded me of the fairytale “The Three Billy Goats Gruff”. I painted this piece on location. It was a lovely spring day and these three woolies kept me company as I worked.
