“Summer Treats” is an original oil painting of a gelato shop in downtown White Bear Lake. It has brightly colored tables and chairs to enjoy your ice cream while also enjoying the sunshine. It was fun to paint the reflected light bouncing up off the sidewalk into the shadow areas. “Summer Treats” won Best Oil painting as awarded by juror Joshua Cunningham in the “Into Nature 2023” plein air exhibition and competition.
